Myreesha's
Story
Hi, my name is Myreesha.
Hair has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was in high school when I started braiding hair in my mama's living room. What started as a means to generate income quickly turned into purpose. Over the years, styling hair became more than beauty to me, it became a way to help women feel confident, seen, and cared for.
Four years ago, I founded a 501c3 nonprofit, FLOS (For The Luve of S.E.L.F.) because I knew I had a calling to mentor girls. At FLOS, our mission is to empower young women through mentorship, cosmetology, entrepreneurship, emotional wellness, and confidence building while helping them see purpose and possibilities for their future.
In addition to being a cosmetologist, I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at KU Edwards because I’m passionate about helping people both inside and outside of the salon. I believe beauty and healing go hand in hand.
I specialize in healthy hair care, silk presses, sew-ins, braidless installs, and beaded row extensions. Listening, healthy hair, and great customer service are my top priorities. My goal is for every client to leave feeling beautiful, confident, and cared for.
"Healthy hair, cared for with love."
